Alright, feelin a little bit better today. My stomach doesn't feel well though, bc i have been inhaling food this week. I dont get how I ate healthy and small portions for 5 weeks and now i eat two or three times for a meal and im still hungry after. How the does that work ? It has to be all mental. And for me, my mind can only take me so far. I do need a break from time to time. I didnt really want to take a break now, but i think thats my body tellin me to do so. I've been sore this week which is odd, i feel like an old man and my body is just all tight and feels like it needs to be cracked constantly. When i crack my back, it sounds like im just crackin ribs in half. But, makes me feel a lot better. I need to hit up my bro to crack my back now. Just very uncomfortable.
instructed at Larrea MMA last night, my 1st class was the advanced kickboxing class. I put these guys through a pretty tough workout, between the warm-up, mitt work and drills i thought i pushed their limits. Then, we were suppose to do "light sparring". Umm ya, they started off nice. Than someone landed a clean shot, then a brawl just ensued. They slammed into the wall, got off and i said "alright, break!" They just kept going, acting like they never even heard me say a word, and if they did hear something they heard, "take is fucking head off" They both landed hooks at the sametime as I came in between them to stop the madness. They were ok but one dude was bleeding from his nose and it was all over the mat. I thought they were gonna go right through the wall. Sensei Larrea wasnt even there at the time, so he would've have to come back and see that. Probably would've thrown me into the wall with the other two. Just freaking crazy. Finding good sparring partners is tough, bc if someone gets hit to hard. ITS ON! nah, let it go. Get out of danger and come back with a proper combo landing ur shotS and out of the way before ur opponent tries to take ur head off! I'm goin to let these guys know that i am upset with them, then im goin to show them how its suppose to look like. On them. After that everything was great, the cardio class went well and Sensei Larrea seems to be pleased with me so far. Tonight I am hittin up long beach with wife and friends, then tomorrow back to Larrea MMA and finally on Sunday morning im goin to Renegade MMA. I miss them ! I need to get my ass out of this funk and get back in the grind. Have a great weekend

What a fucking week so far. Work at Valiant has been crazy the last two days. I haven't gone to Renegade once this week. I'm eating like a fat kid who just left fat camp and stopped at Mickey D's with endless amount of options on the dollar menu. The start of this week, I wasnt getting any sleep. Last night i got much better sleep and feel pretty good. My body was sore as fuck from NAGA, still grappled monday night and yesterday morning with lil bro. But I still feel disgusting. I'm just gonna take this week as an off week and get back on track on Sunday. Both of my little ones have been under the weather and not doing so well. I just hope everything turns around and i can get back on track. I have Larrea MMA tonight, I will be instructing the advance and beginner kickboxing classes. Tomorrow night might hit up long beach for a few cocktails, havent been out in forever. Than its back to Larrea MMA on saturday from 930-3ish. Action packed week, maybe go out east on sunday and get some nice seafood. holler

Had my 1st official Gi training last night at Larrea MMA. It was fun but def different, almost like cheating. I enjoyed it and cant wait to learn more grips, moves and eventually compete in a Gi tournament. The cardio kickboxing class I instruct is going really well. They have a lot of students and more signing up everyday. The class is incredibily difficult and I am very glad I'm the instructor and not in the class. The students push themselves though, and make it through 4 minutes rds, with 1 minute speed punches and 1 minutes fitness exercises. Crazy!! Everything at Larrea MMA is going really well, I am very happy to be working/instructing there.
Tonight I get to go to Renegade MMA and work on some kickboxing and some MMA clinch work, extremely pumped. Can't wait to get a solid training session in and just keep having the ball roll. Dont stop, cant stop, wont stop. Got to get better everyday ! I'm having a "normal" week of eating this week, i have been eating healthy for four straight weeks and my body just needs an off week from that. Not gonna cheat training and not gonna eat junk, just more food.
Both of my little girls are under the weather, and not feeling their best. That means no sleep for me or the Mrs. Just hope everyone is alright without getting anyone else sick. Mack is up watching cartoons under the blankets in the living room and Peyton is right next to me sleeping after i just gave her a bottle. Aint no thing ! Daddy day care is where its at. Two cups of Joe, some snacks, MMA webistes, blogging, Wfan.com and the fresh beat band on disney usually make my mornings now. Overall good things. Work should be rough today though, not fully staffed on one of the busiest days of the week. Should be interesting.
May 9th, 2011
Had a real busy week this passed week. Some morning sessions, with regular work, instructing at Larrea MMA, training at Renegade MMA and wakin up in the middle of the night for the baby has got to me a little. But, def excited about Team Renegade doing really well in the US Sambo open yesterday, couple of medals and a 1st place finish. Congrats !! My brother and I went to NAGA this weekend, it awesome to spend sometime with Chris. With my busy life, I really dont see little bro as much as I should. So it was good to have a little road trip together to NJ for some grappling. Chris represented team Jungle-Jitsu and did an excellent job in doin so, he faced a stud in the 1st match and went back in forth, with Chris up a little then he took his opponents back, broke him down and slipped a RNC on for the tap. Chris's next match was vs the best guy in the tourney, an exciting back and forth match that had Chris comin up a little short. His efforts were off the charts, it was great to see him back on the mat. He's a confident dude, i learned a lot from the lil guy. Keepin calm, having confidence in ur own game and sayin fuck it lets get it on !! I tried mimicking LiL C's mentality and for the most part it worked for me. I grappled for Team Renegade in the No-Gi Intermediate Middleweight division. I think I had 12-14 guys in the bracket. I had a lucky draw and did not have an outter bracket match. My 1st match I won by points 19-1, 2nd match a little closer 5-2 and in the finals I got caught in a triangle transferred to an arm bar and took 2nd place. To be honest, I felt a bit of relief making it to the finals, and was pretty happy just making it there. I think my mind was satisfied and I didnt have the drive I did in the semi's as I needed in the finals to not do anything stupid and not get caught or do something technically wrong. But, I did. So back to the drawing board and to training today. Baby is up mad early, feeling it. Getting my coffee in, my stomach still hurts from all the food i ate this weekend. Thats stops today, gonna try to lay down for a bit, go to work then off to Larrea MMA for Gi and Kickboxing tonight.
May 2nd, 2011
Its freaking May already ? how ya'll doing ? Hopefully well. This passed week was pretty busy. Mack had her 1st kickball game which she did amazing in. I instructed a couple of classes at Larrea MMA in East Rockaway. My family and a lot of friends participated in the annual MS walk at Jone Beach yesterday. Overall positive stuff, I am instructing again at Larrea MMA tonight after Valiant. I'm about to run and roll with my little bro in the Jungle. Cant wait for tn, cant wait to get to Renegade tomorrow. I haven't been gettin the chance to get down there. But, my schedule is set. No more unsure nights, everything is accounted for. Gonna be awesome, should be a sweet ride. Gonna be training hard this week, watching my weight for this weekends NAGA where it looks like ill be coaching and competing. Freaking 80 bux for the tournament sucks, thats a lot of money to maybe lose ur 1st match and be gone. "O, yeah. Thanks for your money, now go home, YOU BUM" - NAGA Guy. But im stoked should be a busy but great week. Lets get it rolling. Hit me up if u wanna roll any mornings. Also want to thank anyone and everyone who came down to the MS walk yesterday or if you donated to the event. They are making progress everyday with medicine and finding a cure, its because of you why there doin so well !! Thank you so much, you dont understand how much it means. thank u, thank u
April 26th, 27th 2011
Had an awesome training session at Team Renegade last night, some good rolling, went over footwork and did some light sparring with an amateur champion. All in all very good, so many things to make better. But def on the right track. My coach is a smart dude who really understands what u got to do to win. I feel he can take me to where i want to be in my fighting career. Overall, im just really happy to be in this position. I got the dolce diet book yesterday and went food shopping before practice. Im a bout a pound or two off from pre-easter weight. So doing well with that, if u have any food questions or any questions about the dolcediet.com book, just ask me. Its pretty simple, 4-8 small meals a day, water all day, berries, nuts, fish, veggies, fruits chicken some meats, whole grain pasta all that stuff. Endless amount of energy, feeling focused and feeling i can push the limits.
Had a decent tuesday at work all pumped up to go to LarreaMMA for my interview. As im walkin out of the bathroom i see my phone go right into toilet, i grab and start drying it off. Totally f'd at this time, but im to excited about the interview so i leave w.o a working phone. I had written driving instructions and a totally wrong picture of where East Rockaway is. I thought it was much much more west. I'm looking and looking for Ocean ave. cant find it, circle around idk about 4 to 5 times. Then im just watchin the time go passed the appointment time, trying to call the place with a phone thats broken. On the way home in RVC i see the stupid street i was looking for. So im like let me just find this place in case Gus Larrea understands and asks me to come back, still couldnt find the place. Unreal!! I came home all upset and angry at myself, I called Sensei Larrea and he was understanding, little confused but hes gonna re-schedule me for tonight. Which is great, the place is a lot closer than i orginally thought and i dont have to have that bad taste in my mouth about fuckin up this interview. So thanks to Gus Larrea of LarreaMMA in East Rockaway for a 2nd chance. Hopefully things go better tonight, cant make it to Renegade MMA though which im bummed about. But for right now buisness before pleasure, gotta do whats right for the family and try to secure a better looking future.
April 25th, 2011
Alright, feeling a little fat. I def ate a little to much yesterday for Easter dinner. This morning I weight 185 !?!?! wtf man, one bad meal and I put on that much weight ? Three poops later I'm down to 182.5 and after Grappling class tonight at Renegade I will be back on track. Sparring with Chris and Bert went well yesterday. Got about 5 rounds in, felt good, probably going a little to hard. But, Chris and Bert take it well and give it back just as hard so its all good. Can't wait to grapple tonight. Feel I havent to Renegade for ever, its only been a week. I just got my resume and references put together for tomorrow nights interview with Gus Larrea of Larrea Mixed Martial Arts in East Rockaway. Pretty excited about that. Just got to get through today's work day and everything should be golden. The family is doing well, Peyton still not the soundest sleeper ever and the wife and I get a little chippy at each other but we make up quick and realize its due to lack of sleep. Everything will be a laugh in a couple of months. Hopefully.
April 24th, 2011
Pretty nice weekend, Friday night went to a really nice sushi place in Massapequa with my little brother, Rob and their girlfriends. My wife came with us, even though she doesnt eat sushi. She got some awesome beef teriyaki that I was picking at all night. I did feel a bit tired with the lack of sleep and the training I did all week long kind of all caught up to me. I still tried enjoying as much as possible. I ended up goin to bed early that night. Smartest decision I ever made. I was up from 2am to 6am with the baby then trained my clients from 7am-10am. Felt good though wasn't suffering. Hit up Chuck E Cheese with my oldest daughter Mackenzie yesterday as the wife stayed home with Peyton and got some rest. I even went food shoppin and went way over the budget, healthy food is not cheap!! Came home had some meat loaf and passed out around 7 pm, woke up around 2:30 am went back to bed to 5 am and just stayed up. I hit the heavy bag for 5 rds yesterday, 3 rds on the ground and pound bag and 2 more rounds on the heavy bag with MMA gloves on. MMA gloves are small, its crazy the damage you can do with them, or damage it could bring you. Gonna spar and roll with a couple of buddies on this easter morning in about 40 minutes, hopefully that goes well and I rest for the rest of the day to get ready for a busy week a head.
On Tuesday night I have an interview with Larrea Mixed Martial Arts in East Rockaway. I am very excited about this, it would be a dream of mine to work at a school like this. The head instuctor seems like an awesome guy who has everything blue printed out for his future. I gotta get fresh and get a hair cut today or tomorrow, I wonder if the russians are open on Easter ? Do I wear nice clothing to the interview or like fight training stuff ? He also asked for 3 references, is that people that I trained, trained with or people who have trained me ? Going to have to hit up Gus Larrea and ask him specificially want hes wants from that. This just seems like a great opportunity for me to have fighting in my life for a while and teach people martial arts which is a dream of mine. Hopefully I do well with the interview and we can talk about what he wants me to do at his school. Its a nice looking place www.LarreaMMA.com
April 22nd, 2011
Sparred yesterday morning with my bro and robbie, felt a little sore from that. Had some family stop by and the wife needed help with the baby last night, so I had to miss out on Renegade practice. Which I'm pretty bummed out about, and Renegade is closed Sunday for Easter. So, I'm not goin back til monday. Sigh !! I got to keep my cardio and my Jungle training up. This morning before work my boy Rob White (@Bert_White) and I hit up Stillwell Mountain Bike Trail. It was awesome to hit that course and get a great cardio and leg work out in. Can't wait to get back in there and push the pace. I have a boring day of work in front of me now, then hopefully hitting the sushi bar up with Rob and my little bro (Cr_Tor24) with girlfriends and wife. Should be a great time, might over indulge a little in the sushi but that will be fine i have been doin great on my diet. Weighing at a comfortable 177.5ish. Just eating healthy, finding out more information about foods and proper diet everyday. Still waiting for my dolce diet book to come in the mail. Got some personals tomorrow morning, hopefully hit the bag, ground and pound bag and some sprints after. My little brother Chris, is a very good personal trainer for the Jungle and World Gym in Wantagh. I just booked him for a weight training circuit that I can mix in with my training and cardio workouts. Very excited, just gotta keep the truck a rollin. Happy Friday, Happy Earth Day !! Eat Healthy, Live Longer
April 21st, 2001
Life is kind of back to normal, or im just getting use to the changes in my life. Which are all good. I wake up early some mornings but its not that bad. I have been training a lot, in the jungle, world gym and Renegade. Getting some nice sparring done wit Robbie and Chris. They are really good training partners and set a good pace for me. With their help 3 times a week and training with Renegade 3 - 4 times a week with 2 cardio/lifting sessions a week should be a good schedule to lead into July. I think I'll be fighting in July on the Evolution MMA card. Well thats the goal, we are still waiting for the event to be official, and we have to get an opponent and such. But im pretty pumped, i like the weight i am at. Eating healthy and lookin to push the limits. So my blog will probably change into my daily training routine and how my little girls are doing, thats pretty much my life right there. Cant wait !!
April 19th, 2011
Getting life back on track after Peyton arrived wasnt to rough. So far its family time and training time, and i love it. This is how i would like to live my life everyday. You have to work stupid hard to get that, and even still might not happen. But, hey its worth a shot, right ?. I've been sparring a lot with the Jungle boys, getting back at it at Renegade, running, lifting and eating the best that i know. I'm doin really well with my eating schedule, but I want to make sure im doin everything correct and possible to give me the edge without takin anything illegal. So i ordered the dolce diet on thedolcediet.com, im really pumped to see what programs and what information about food that this book will provide me. I'm really enjoying eating healthy, i have more energy than ever, i feel good all the time, never in some kind of coma after indulging to much food. It is difficult sometimes but if im gonna cheat, ill take the bun of the burger or ill have a normal portion and just have boundries with my food that i just dont cross. I will throw away everything i worked for if i eat shitty, people that im facing will gain a notch over me if i submit myself to the crap food out there. Thats how i keep my motivation. Hopefully the dolce diet book can help me keep my focus and reach the goals that i want to reach. I have been trying to increase my cardio, running a shit ton and trying to push myself in practice. I hate gassing out and i feel i shouldnt do it. I wonder if im holding my breath when i face a good guy in practice but its just stupid annoying. But im gonna keep on pushin on and trying to reach new levels everyday.
April 16th, 2011
Had a beautiful baby girl, Peyton Victoria. My wife did an amazing job getting our second daughter out. Everything went well, hospital stay was a good as it can be. I cant believe im a father of two beautiful girls. Rolled the dice right on something for once.
For an off week in training, i really found the time to get it done this week. Hitting up the Jungle hard with Bert and my little brother Christopher. Some very good hard sparring, rollin', running and weight lifting everyday this week except wednesday. I think thats pretty decent, im gonna train today at 9 am at Renegade MMA. First time since grapplers quest. So im pretty excited to go back there and work hard. My next competition i think is coming close, there is a tournament in FishKill NY and a NAGA in NJ around the same time. So ill choose one of those based on plans and family stuff. Gonna keep truckin and try to get into fight shape and see what can happen off that. Training in the Jungle helps me a lot, its a review and just more time on the mat. Which can never be a bad thing. I have great training partners at the Jungle and Team Renegade, def have a good thing goin with that. I had a really bad eating day on wednesday, i think it was nerves of the new baby coming, but i ended up getting back to 188. Been eating good ever since and im 183 now. I'd like to keep losing weight, or atleast my fat. Workout twice a week and train around 6 times a week, with the dolce diet should do it. Just cant cheat on it, or not to eat to much. I like the way i feel when i eat healthy, i have more energy and i like my stomach looking more flat to be honest.
Got Peytons 1st doctors appt tomorrow morning, im pretty excited for that. Mackey and Peytons doctor was also my doctor when i was a child, so i think thats pretty cool. Hopefully all goes well, then its back to normal life mode. Heading to work after the doctors appointment, then grappling at Renegade tomorrow night. I better just not bitch during then night when Peyton needs to be dealt with. I made a highlight tape of my fights that i have on youtube, its also under the "Video's" tab. Check it out.
April 12th, 2011
Having a baby girl tomorrow morning, im so pumped to meet her. Hopefully it goes well and melissa toughs it out and we can be one big happy family. gonna wake up early and hit the gym around 7 am for about an hour than coming home getting everything together and heading to the hospital. U can follow me on facebook ill be giving updates all day, if ur interested. Should be a long day but it will be worth it. Im out of work for the rest of the week. Probably be out of training for a day or two, gotta make sure i dont fall to far behind. But thats neither here or there, tomorrow bringing a human into the world. Gonna be awesome.
April 10th, 2011
Grapplers Quest went well. Im not fully satisfied with my effort, and i def have a lot of things to work on. But they are some positives that came out of this. It was the 1st event I did with Team Renegade which was awesome, i was proud to represent them and happy to see my teammates compete. Also it was my first competition since being diagnosed with MS. So that was a nice achievement in itself. Less than a year a go, I was told that my athletic career was going to be limited possibly over. But, with the help of great family, friends and Team Renegade I was able to step back on the mat and compete at a high level and do well. Even though i wasnt completly happy with how i did, im just really happy to be back doin what i love to do and to have the support from so many people. I registered two wins and two losses. The guys I faced were beasts, strong and really knew what they were doing. Each match win or loss was a battle. I really cant wait wait to get back to practice and get my roll on. I promised the family, i would take a week off but doesnt mean i cant run workout or wrestle with my little brother in the jungle in the mornings. There is a NAGA coming up in May, that i would love to do. So im gonna keep on keep it on. Also, at the grappling competition good friend and teammate Vinny Gilmore made his Grappling debut with a free win in the 1st round, and total domination of a Brooklyn MMA competitor who previously just submitted a game grappler. Vinny really relied on his training and tossed this guy around and ended up taking 4th place out of 20 competitiors. Congrats to Vinny, Brittney, Matt, Taylor and Pete for representing Team Renegade MMA. Thank you to all of u who read this crap i write, my family, my coach, my friends and everyone else who has gotten me back on track. I will never forget.
April 8th, 2011 - weigh in day for grapplers quest
Today is the day of the weigh ins for tomorrows grapplers quest. I love day-before-weigh-ins bc i can have a good dinner and breakfast and be walkin around about 5 to 6 pounds over my weight class tomorrow for the tourney. Im weighin in right now at 179.5 so im gonna head over to the gym i work for and go in the steam room and sweat a pound or two so i can sip water through out the day. I have to go to my regular full time job after i lose a couple of pounds and make sure i dont eat anythign amd wait for that work day to be over. I heading to New Jersey with fellow friend and teammate Vinny Gilmore around 3:30, hopefully get there around 5ish. We will get to see the venue before everyone else, and not be star stucked tomorrow morning when we get there to compete. Still very comfortable, not nervous, feeling good. Jst gonna go in there and do my best, im happy to be competing but i dont wanna lose. Just grappling isnt enough, but i also know there is some serious grapplers in this area and matches are not gonna be easy. The best i can do is stayin cool, not wasting energy on being nervous and just do what i do in practice everyday. Team Renegade has gotten me fully prepared and i hope i can represent them well. Im really excited to see my teammates step on the mat and test their skills vs different grapplers from the east coast. should be a lot of fun. TheGarv.com will be covering this event so be sure to check his site and see how the event was.
April 7th, 2011
The training is done, now its a count down to saturday's grapplers quest. I feel very relaxed, little to relaxed. I am surprised at myself that im calm and collective. I guess having fought 3 times before and been to a couple of jiu jijtsu tournaments that after a while i would finally get use to it. My teammates seem ready to rumble as well. We are goin down there with a full team about 7-8 members are gonna step on the mat. I would just like to thank anyone and everyone that helped me get back to this point in my life. I couldnt of done with without my wife, daughter, mom, dad, brothers, friends teammates and coaches at team renegade. U all are a part of this and now stuck with me. Thank you. LETS GO RENEGADE MMA
www.TheGarv.com will be covering the event and hopefully will be having some nice articles to write up about Team Renegades performance. Check out Grapplersquest.com for more information and location of the venue.
April 6th, 2011
Training is goin great, been getting after it hard. Morning cardio and night time grappling classes. Drinking water and watching what i eat. i have lost about 10 pounds slowly through 10 days. I feel light but still strong, i think this is a perfect weight for me. My food intake has been controlled and on a schedule. Drinking about a gallon and half of water a day, peeing every 10 minutes but im flushing my system out and very hydrated. Tonight is my last night of training before my grapplers quest saturday, weigh in on friday night. Feelin calm, just ready to go. My team is ready to go, should be a good showing by Team Renegade. TheGarv.com will be covering this saturdays grappling quest, so hopefully we can have some nice coverage of our team. Wish us luck !!
April 3rd, 2011
hello all, sorry i havent blogged in a while but been busy. Working, training and family time takes up a lot of time and i havent been able to get to the computer as much. I have a jiu jitsu tournament on saturday and its my 1st competition ill be involved with since being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis last June. I have been training with Team Renegade MMA in levittown and having a great time with super high level fighters and quaility dudes. Im pretty stoked for my team for this competition and hopefully we can make a name for ourselves.
Did I mention that im having my 2nd child ? haha, yea ! like any day now. The wife is ready to get this baby out of her. Her stomach is so big and uncomfortable looking, shes a tough s.o.b for dealin with this for 9 months, TWICE ! I cant wait for the new member of my family to arrive. My daughter Mackenzie is ready to be a big sister and protect her little sister. Crazy im goin to have two kids, just some crazy daddy trying to scare little shit heads away from my girls.
Ill be bloggin everyday or every other day leading up to the tournament, updating u on my diet, training plans and how im feeling nerves wise as the competition nears.
Leggo!!
March 10th, 2011
Woowwww, good morning ladies and gents. My blogging is suckin it up hard as of late. Over my break period i turned 27, i have a new baby expected within the month. I'm training 6 times a week i have a ustream show and feeling pretty well.
This week starts National Multiple Sclerosis week, i guess its a nice thing to have for people who suffer from MS. All it makes me want to do is to show everyone how i can deal with it and still do whatever i want. I plan on getting back in to fight training after my 2nd child is born. We will see how well the wife takes this but it is a dream of mine to be a fighter, live the life and win an amateur championship. I think about it everyday all day long, i train everyday for what reason ? to stay healthy ? fuck that!! I do it because i love the sport of MMA and Jiu Jitsu. I love competing against others and see where i stand as a individual and as a fighter. I can tell a lot about myself during fight training. Am i gonna push myself, Am i gonna take short cuts, not wake up early and run, cheat on my diet, half ass it in practice. No I cant, u cant. Train half assed and break during trainging and u will lose. It will show right in the ring or cage. All or nothing. Heres for another run at it.
Dont give up
Follow your dreams
Ill be bloggin more, thanks for reading

Good day all ! The snow came, it wasnt as bad as we thought. Some shoveling and sun light helped out as well, and now we are back to normal.
Big news in the local MMA community. Levittown's own Gian Villante (7-1) Ring of Combat Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Champion will make the jump to "the show" and mix it up with Chad Griggs in a Strikeforce event scheduled Feb, 12 in NJ at the IZOD center. Gian wins this fight he will be an alternate for the Heavyweight Grand Prix that strikeforce is doing. Gian could see Fedor, Arlovski, Alistar Overeem, Brett Rodger and or Josh Barnett. Its crazy to think that this is happening in such a short career. Villante has only been doing mixed martial arts for 2 years. He made his debut as a prob and just has killed everyone since then. He got hurt once in a fight with a serious elbow injury, and came back and destroyed some dude in a minute. This fight should be awesome, the card is stacked with big names. And guess what ??!!? I am going, got my tickets yesterday, goin with a couple of friends and my wife. Pretty pumped up.
January 10th, 2011
Hellloooooo everyone, or the 2 to 3 people that read this. I am sorry to my fan(s) that might be a little disappointed that i havent been bloggin lately. I have been very busy and with the holidays and bullshit i kinda forgot too. Well im back now hopin ur interested in what i have to say. UFC 125 was a great night of fights, Frankie Edgar proved hes a true champion and fought back to a draw. Looks like they will fight again in a rubber match to once again see who will be lightweight champion. Brian Stann knocked out Chris Leben, Leben was very sloppy. Looks like he took Stann a little lightly and he paid the price. My boy Nate Diaz lost a decision to Stunn Gun and my fav fight Phil Baroni lost via ref stoppage in the 1st rd. All in all a great night of exciting fights. Next up is UFC fight night 23 "fight for the troops 2" With rising stars Evan Dunham vs Melvin Guilard. March 19th UFC is coming to Newark New Jersey with the 205 title on the line as Maurico "Shogun" Rua defends his belt for the 1st time vs Former Champion "Suga" Rashad Evans. Also, Urijah Faber, Brendan Schaub, Mirko Cro crop, Miller brother and Edison Barboza Jr are all on the card. Tickets go on sale this week, hopefully i can get a pair for the wife and i and enjoy that night.
Starting goin Renegade MMA in levittown. Its an awesome place with awesome people. They have opened my eyes, and have been teaching my new techniques also why cleaning up my regular game. I switch schools not because i have any problems with bellmore kickboxing. Not even close, i just like the change of scenery, different people and new ways of looking at things. Luckily for me, Renegade MMA is a great place and im very happy i stopped by and got back on the mat. Right now im just training, hopefully looking to get into a jiu jitsu tourney in march.

Good Afternoon all, Hope you had a fantastic weekend. My weekend went pretty well, took the wife out to dinner to adelaides with friends and family. So the movie "Tangled" with Mack and Mel, Great movie ! Saturday night watch the Knicks lose 3 straights and fell a sleep early. Sunday was a great for fantasy football, my team in my league went off and is gonna get me in the finals to play for 1200 or 600 dollars. Sweet, Desean Jackson lifted me up returning that punt back at the end of the game. Also, love shutting up the annoying Giants fans.
I am gonna try and attend UFC 128 in Newark NJ. Featuring rumored bouts between Rashad Evans and ShoGun Rua, Tito Ortiz vs Lil NOG. Should be awesome, i really hope i get to go. March 19th i think the date is.
A quiet MMA weekend, with Edgar - Maynard coming up on New Years Day. An excellent card that showed be very entertaining.
Not to sur what to talk about, thought i had something in my head. I guess is vanished. If it pops up ill write another entry.
OOOO, on MMA.TV on the underground forums they talk about anything to do with MMA. Especially fake fighters or fake BJJ guys, via Christian Darrow. They got a new guy, says he has 1500 wrestling matches, and all this bs. hope its another epic tale.
Here is the link if u wanna start reading this potential epic thread:

Sorry havent blogged in a couple of days. Well u can thank Mr. Showtime, Anthony Pettis for getting me to write another blog entry. I am still in awe from his crazy jumping on the fence and then leaping off of it to swing the same leg at Ben Henderson's face as the Champ (Now Former Champ) was back peddling. Pettis' foot landed on "Smooth"'s chin, putting Ben on the floor on his back. I have to give it to Ben Henderson, i have no idea how that kick didnt knock him out. I dont know how he gets out of those submissions. Either way, what a great way to end THE WEC as it merges with the UFC. More spotlight, more money, more credit. should be good for the lighter weights.
SHOWTIME vs the winner of Edgar - Maynard. So #Swi
Side notes- Domink Cruz really impressed me again with his ridiculous overall game. That man switches it up like no one else. He works angles, everything is a good set up that leads into something else, coming at all different positioning. My boy Scotty Jorgensen didnt really have a chance but gutted it out. Happy to see Cowboy Cerrone pull off a sweet triangle choke. Really wasnt smart of Hordecki to take down Cerrone. Hordecki was getting owned standing so i guess he had no choice, but when they hit the ground. The Cowboy went on flurry of jiu jitsu submission attempts, and The Polish Hammer (i think thats his nickname) had no chance on the ground. Also, Jaime Varner was choked out by RNC in the 1st round, this makes me happy. Excellent night of fights, Hate to see WEC go but its only getting better from here.
Also last weeks UFC. Mr. GSPPPP came through as he jab the shit out of Koscheck. I think GSP got hit 4 times in that fight, he out wrestled Kos AGAIN and humbled his ass standing. Where does KOS go from here ? another crappy opponent that he will ko and start mouthing off again ? probably! GSP will most likely face Jake Shields, American Jiu Jitsu guy, with great ground game but terrible, and i mean terrible, as in the worst ive ever seen for a passed champ. I dont know what he is going to do when he cant keep GSP down or what happens if GSP puts Jake on his back. Sorry haters, GSP is atleast top 2 P4P fighters. Hes either 1 or 2, thats pretty fucking good. He dominates his opponents, maybe doesnt finish them but these are the best fighters in the world. It shouldnt be easy to finish him. Just look at Dan Hardy's fight, that guy was gonna have his arm takin off and he didnt tap. Anyone else wouldve. Koschecks eye was so bad the doctor couldve ended it. Got to give props to koscheck, he stuck in there and finished the fight. But boy, all the shit talking u did, sure does make u look like a prick, more like an idoit now after u got mopped off the floor by some canada dude with a weird voice. Keep talkin smack Kos, o wait ?!! ur lip is to swallon to talk ? Hey im over here ? Cant see me ? Is that bc GSP tagged ur face some many times u look like a catchers mit. yea fawk yaw ass dick.
BAM.
Roasted.

An awesome weekend of MMA. We started off friday as Ring of Combat kicked featuring Bellmore Kickboxing's stand out Gian Villante, fighting for the vacant light heavyweight title. This fight was lop sided and Gian just ground and pounded his guy til the ref stopped it, early in the 1st round. The "All-American" Chris Weidman from Serra/Longo's had a more difficult task facing a stud jiu jitsu guy who was ready to fight. At one point Chris got stuck in a deep knee bar, and was able to take the pain and figure away to use his free leg to kick out of it. He also had a great guillitone escape. Chris displayed great stand up, and excellent wrestling. It was good for him to go three rounds and have that under his belt. He got through the rounds cardio wise with no problem. Cant wait to see both of these guys mixing it up with the big boys at the next level.
On saturday, The UFC's TUF finale went off on the same night as Strikeforce on showtime. I personally have to say that the Strikeforce card really showed up and delivered great knockouts and high action packed entertainment. TUF 12 finale had all there main card fights go to decision. The Phan-Garcia fight was a joke with the decision. Maia-Groove fight was really boring, and the other fights were ok. Glad to see Stephan Bonner get a win. The Strikeforce started out with Benji Radach get his ass kicked by OSP. It shouldve been stopped in the 1rd. It was getting bad. Paul Daley the guy who got banished from the UFC for swing at KOS, ktfso of Scott Smith. BAM he smacked the floor hard. Robbie Lawler probably caused brain damage to Matt Linland with a vicious knockout. Dan Hendo Henderson won over Sobral in dominat fashinon. Catchin the Jiu jitsu whiz standing then finishing it on the ground.
All in all, Strikeforce beat the UFC saturday night. But its like Strikeforces 1st ever win, and they have nothing planned for the future. Except a challengers show, the could have great future match ups but the fights can do whatever they want when they want to. No big shows planned with in the next 2 months. UFC is king, u cant mess.
StrikeForce
Dan Henderson defeats Renato "Babalu" Sobral via knockout (strikes) at 1:53 of round one
Paul Daley defeats Scott Smith via knockout (strikes) at 2:09 of round one
Robbie Lawler defeats Matt Lindland via knockout (strikes) at 0:50 of round one
Antonio Silva defeats Mike Kyle via technical knockout (strikes) at 2:49 of round two
Ovince St. Preux defeats Benji Radach via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-26, 30-25)
TUF finale
Stephan Bonnar defeats Igor Pokrajac via Unanimous Decision
Jonathan Brookins defeats Michael Johnson via Unanimous Decision
Demian Maia defeats Kendall Grove via Unanimous Decision
Ricky Story defeats Johny Hendricks via Unanimous Decision
Leonard Garcia defeats Nam Phan via Split Decision

Pablo Garza defeats Fredson Paixao via knockout (strikes) in round one
Nick Pace defeats Will Campuzano via submission (choke) in round three

Good morning people. Feeling great today, how are you ? The Jungle had a great jiu - jitsu session last night. A decent amount of studs came through, and every roll was a battle. Lately, I started lifting weights, watching techniques online and thinking about how i wanted my "guard" to be. Luckily for me, it worked out. I was happy with the amount of action I was presenting to my teammates from the ground. Its very hard to do anything from your back, especially when ur partners are very strong and have a good jiu jitsu game to begin with. I knew one move would not get them, and that i had to attack from all angles to land a submission. Even if i wasnt really goin after something, i should atleast be moving my hips, trying to get my angles and work on breaking his posture. The White brothers had an epic battle, I think the roll went for like 12 minutes or something. My buddy Eric Dicap came down who is a force and really can make u feel like ur not that good. Former NAGA champ Pete Ligs made it down for serious rolls with Dicap, Dan, Matador and Bert. Matador is still amazing with how he bench presses people off of him. I would still like different people to come by, so we can mix it up. But im def not gonna complain about the level of competition that walks into the Jungle.
Last night was the last episode of TUF 12, where we had Johnathon Brookings and Michael Johnson win kind of boring decisions. I understand ur fighting just to get the win and not be entertaining in that fight. Totally understandable. Now we have those two guys goin off. Nam Phan is fighting the 1st WEC fighter to make the merger, Lenord Garcia at the 145 weight class. Also Cody Mckenzie will be fighting that English dude and Matt Hughes Jiu Jitsu man is fighting some other chump that i forgot there names. This blog stinks anyways haha dont matta. Tomorrow i will post my predictions for the Finale that starts at 9 pm Saturday night on Spike Tv. Listed below is the results of the MMA awards and the rest of the fight card for saturday:
TUF 12 FINALE
Stephan Bonnar vs. Igor Pokrajac
Demian Maia (No. 4 MW) vs. Kendall Grove

Whats up ya'll. I am sore as a mother fucker today. Chest and arms are killing me, but its a good soreness. I blasted my pull ups this morning, easier than any other day. Hit the gym last night and went over Jiu-Jitsu with a client. I love reviewing moves, make me think, and get down all the moves correctly. Polish up my rusty jiu jitsu game. Tonight I am having Jungle jitsu starting at 8 pm. Gonna go back to the old ways a bit where we went over moves and practiced stuff instead of rushing right into live grappling.
We got a two hour episode of the ultimate fighter tonight, starting at 9 pm. Should be an awesome night. I want my boy Brookins to beat the matt hughes dude. Also pickin Michael Johnson over Nam Pham, could be wrong on this fight. But my boy brookins is the real deal, should take it easy.
Also tonight they have the MMA awards on Versus.com. Pretty funny see all the drunk fighters and low budget event with crappy hosts. All in all a great night of MMA and jiu jitsu.

"You can have all the excuses. But, when it comes down to it, your not doing it."
Great quote, heard it when I was at Bellmore Kickboxing. It is tough to stick with somethin, I have been in and out of MMA for about 7 years, and in and out of weight lifting since i was in 6th grade. When i get in the mode, I cannot be stopped. Its literally on my mind 24/7. Everything i do, i picture how i can translate it in fighting terms or lifting terms. Then I reach my peak or goal and then i become a fatty, AGAIN. Then have a hard time getting back into it. I've personal trained a lot of people and working at a gym and training at many, I've come to the solution that this happens to most people. Its those crazy people who stick with it. How do they have that drive ? Day in and day out, with no end in sight.
It's who they are, they make it apart of there life. Its just as important as sleeping to them or eating. Its a must and they have to get it done that day and everyday or they will be pissed. Its one of their top priorities of the day.
So Ive been slowly getting my body back into regular mode again. Trying to get bigger, keep the cardio up for flag football and continue my MMA training with jungle and heavy bag training. I think its time to step it up to the next level and really starting pushing myself. But, I dont want to push myself to the point where I burn myself out (which has happened many times b4) I gotta keep the fire, the desire without goin overboard. Use what i know about myself to get the fuck up and head to the gym. There should be no question if im goin to the gym, it should be when or if im goin again today. I like havin this mind frame. But am i just talking out of my asshole and saying this to make myself think im actually doin something ? Or am i goin to do it ? And, if so - How long ? Well time will tell, hopefully i wont disappoint. How about u ? What do u need to stay focused ? Keep ur eyes on the prize ! One love people.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone !! Havent put a post up in a while. It was a nice 4 days off, saw a lot of family and friends. Played a decent amount of football, watched a lot of football. My hammy's feel like they can snap at any step i take. I loved it though, so awesome to play again. My thanksgiving dinner was awesome, quick but awesome. My sleepin patterns were thrown off, so i felt tired all the time. Havent been in the Jungle for a couple of days, I gotta change that up. Dexter was sick last night, really becoming interesting. I have no idea how Dexter isn't going to get caught, something crazy is going to happen. MMA has been quiet this week, The worldwide MMA awards will be broadcasted live on Versus.com on wednesday night starting at 10:30. The Knicks had a nice doulbe ot win yesterday over the Pistons, and they lost to the Hawks the day before in a hard fought battle. There just under .500 and seem to be gettin it together lately. The Heat keep losing and its amazing. LeBron like shoulder'd his coach in the face. Not the first time he has done this. He seems to be acting like a spoil bitch, who has lost any legendary status that he had before while he was in cleveland.
Also, The Andre Johnson - Finnegan Cortland fight was awesome. Cortland is a borderline dirty player, actually he is a dirty player. I like him, and i like the way he plays. But, I like Andre Johnson better, and he had to do something wrong to tick Andre off like that. You just dont see that stuff like that in football to often. It was sweet, Andre connected with a few punches. Shit was serious. Congrats to both!
Umm.. yeahh, thats all i gotta say today. I fatted around for four days and havent done much. Time to get my ass back in gear.

Wow, I have to get better at picking fights. I got 4 right out of 11. Pretty gross, I will step it up for the next event. The fights were pretty entertaining. The Rampage-Machida fight was more exciting then i thought it would be. I wish Lyoto would be just a little more aggressive. He dominated Jackson in the 3rd but "The Dragon" def lost the first two rds and ended up losing a split decision. Rampage told Machida that he won, but Quinton is wrong. Jackson won the fight, Machida came on to late in the fight. Get more aggresive sooner MACHIDA.
This fight, i was very happy to get wrong. BJ PENN is BACCCKKKK, actually he never went anywhere. Maybe, Frankie Edgar is that good. Bc Penn destroyed Matt Hughes in like 20 something seconds. Amazing!! Baby Jay looked pissed off in the locker room, cursing on the way to the octagon. cursing when he got in the cage. I loved that BJ, he already has his next fight lined up UFC 127 vs Jon Fitch. Which is amazing match up, and the winner should get a title shot at GSP or if Koscheck wins hahahaha sorry thats crazy talk. Ok so the winner of Penn-Fitch get GSP. Prob will be next summer.
My boy Gerald Harris got his ass kicked, then when he couldve came back he just looked at his opponent and Maiquel Jose Falcao Goncalves looked like a beast the first couple of rounds but burned himself out in the 3rd.
Phil Davis made up his on Submission "the mrwonderful" and dominated Tim Boetsch. My upset pick of the night didnt happen as Sotirupouls submitted Joe Lauzon. Matt Brown got submitted by Brian Foster, Munoz had an action packed fight vs Aaron Simpson. MarK Munoz took home the decision. And my man Karo Parisyan looked as bad as he fought. Terrible. And was finished in the 1st rd.
All in all great UFC event, we dont have TUF this week. December 1st we will have the 2 hour Season Finale and then The TUF finale that saturday. Which is gonna be awesome. Remember today at 1 pm on mmafighting.com, AOL fanhouse presents the MMA hour with Ariel Helwani. Should be a great show.
Main event:
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson defeats Lyoto Machida via Split Decision
Main card (Televised):
BJ Penn defeats Matt Hughes via TKO (Strikes) Round 1
Phil Davis defeats Tim Boetsch via Submission (Kimura) Round 2

Nik Lentz defeats Tyson Griffin via split decision

Fight predictions for this Saturday nights UFC 123 event.
This looks to be a great card, I think the main event and co-main event wont deliver to much. But that the Main card, the free spike verizon and the non-televised portion will all be great fights.
I will start from the bottom and go up,
I like Edison Barboza with a 3rd stoppage over Darren Elkins
Paul Kelly 1st rd tko over TJ O'Brien
Tyson Griffin 3rd rd submission over Nik Lentz
"THE HEAT" Karo Pariyson wins a decision over Dennis Hallman
Aaron Simpson wins via unamious dec. over mark munoz
Matt Brown KO over Brian Foster in the 2nd
Main Card - My upset pick of the night is JLAU Joe Lauzon KOing George Sotirupoulos in the 2nd rd.
Mr. Wonderful Phil Davis will totally dominate Tim Boetsch for a Refs stoppage early in the 3rd.
Im picking my boy Geral Harris, who has amazing wrestling and new fantasic stand up that he has been displaying the last couple of fights over Maiquel Jose Falcao Goncalves via refs stoppage due to strikes
In the co-main event, Im picking the most dominat welterweight who has ever stepped in the octagon, Matt Hughes in a 3 round war over my idol, one of the best jiu jitsu practioners in the world BJ Penn. I want BJ to win and will be happy if I am wrong, but i just dont see it happening. Sorry BJ
And in the Main Event, I am predicting a 2nd straight boring Main Event, with Lyoto doing a lot of dancing, and Rampage being patient in the beginning and then picking it up as the fight goes on. I see a couple of takedowns being the deciding factor for Rampage, and Jackson taking home the decision.
Thats all of them, probably going to watch it in the Jungle. All are welcomed. Be back monday, for post-fight analysis.
Who r u picking for UFC 123?

Alright, and I'm back. Had an excellent Jungle session last night. Didnt know i was goin to be able to make it, luckily my wife came home in time and i could roll around for a hour. We had a smaller group but they were very good jungle jitsu practioners. Brendan, Matador, Chris and Dicap were on the mat, switching it up. Going lengthy rounds, and showing off some good moves.
We had the 2nd part of the quarterfinals last night on the ultimate fighter. First fight was Kyle Watson (13-6-1) vs. Aaron Wilkinson (6-3), I liked Wilkinson and his takedown defense looked decent in other fights but not in this one. Kyle Watson the Matt Hughes Jiu Jitsu Coach came out moving levels and some nice kicks into a nice trip takedown. Watson got control of side mount, went for a key lock which made Wilkinson turn and give his back. As soon as Watson took his back i knew it was over, and once again a Koscheck fighter was submitted but a Rear Naked Choke.
Next fights was Bruce Leee Roy vs Michael Johnson. I wanted MJ to win but i thought LeeRoy would find a submission. That never happened. MJ had great takedowns, dominat position and ground and pound. He looked to get gassed in the 2nd rd but fought through it and won a decision into the semi finals and bragging rights over his black counter part.
Koscheck just seems to be the biggest dick ever, saying retarded things to get to GSP or bother his teammates. I hope they paid KOS decent money to be a turd. I cant stand him, and i dont think that KOS fans can even deal with him. GSP is a true martial artist and a blue print for kids who are looking to be a MMA fighter. Next week is the 2 hour season finale, should be awesome. Hopefully Brookins and Johnson in the finals.

Damnn, my legs are still hurting from playin flag football on Sunday. Unreal, I've been stretching them all morning. I think I'm goin to a MMA gym tonight to help a buddy train for his amateur mma fight in December. Pretty nervous, but excited. I'd like to see how I do, facing new people. Not sure of the quality of everyone, so that makes the nervousness set in. But, I did go to bellmore kickboxing and get my ass handed to me from some of the best fighters on the east coast. So, how much better can they be than a Ryan Laflare, a Dom Stanco or an Al Iaquinta ? I dont want to put anyone down, I am just saying that to make myself feel better of the situation. So I will let u guys no how that went tomorrow.
Michael Vick did amazing yesterday, holy domination. Guy is sick, it will be interesting to see how the Eagles deal with him at the end of the year. The RB Torain from Washington didnt play, so i lost in fantasy. Freaking Matador, he talked smack and still won, how does that work ?
My boy Jay Hieron signed with Bellator last night instead of the UFC. More money was offered by Bellator, they also have a tournament format where Jay can fight more often and perhaps rise his stock so he can sign with the UFC for the money that hes worth. Im excited to see him fight again. Hes a Bellmore Kickboxing Alum, comes by often took couple of classes with him. Scary dude, its just like "whoa, that guy looks like he can do serious damage to a person". He had a long lay off because of contract problems, it will be great to see him fight again.

Happy Monday everyone, hope you all had a great weekend. I certainly did, sparred with my best friend Bert and we went at it hard. Double knockout punch included in that session. I got to watch a free UFC that im goin to go over in just a bit. I played football for the 1st since July. Wat a great feeling, i forgot how it feels to play football. A wonderful sport, very excited for turkey day football and the Mcaruther football tourney on the 27th. its gonna be a lot of fun. I just got to get my legs stronger. My legs are a little sore from yesterday, but since i did my "office fitness program" everyday at work, there not to bad.
Ok, now to UFC 122. The Okami-Marquardt match sucked, but what do you expect. Both fighters are not exciting. They need someone to come after them to get aggresive, they arent the aggressors. I am happy Okami won, even though I am a Nate fan. No one picked Yuskin to win and now he gets a title shot vs the champ, the spider, Anderson Silva. Did I forget to mention that Yusin holds a DQ victory of the 185 lbs champ ? O yes he does. In PRIDE back in the hizzday. Anderson Silva heeled Okami in the face when both fighters were on the ground. Illegal strike, Okami couldnt continue, Victory - Okami.
Besides the boring Main event, a lot of fights did deliver. Silver vs Winner was a crazy fight, both leg kickin the shit out of each other, and Silver not Winner pulled of the RNC submission victory. I was wrong on that fight. Another great fight was Amir Sadillah vs New comer Peter Sobatta. Sobatta wasnt nervous fighting in the UFC and really showed that hes a tough son of a bitch, but that doesnt produce wins. And in the UFC u need to win. Amir mixed it up real well, showing off his Muay Thai skills. Two youngs guys really going hard but the TUF winner Sadillah took home the unanimous decision.
My boy Chris McCray left his leg dangling, and ended up getting caught in a deep knee bar. Whole leg was bending the way wrong way. Hopefully Chris is ok and get another crack at a UFC fight. K-Sos had a insane fight with Goran Reljic, Soszynski took body kicks real well and mixed it up with stand up and take downs. Good win for Krysztof, he should face some decent talent in his next fight. Did look like he had a broken hand though.
I also watched the Manny Paquiao vs Antonio Margarito fight. Manny is unreal, his foot work is amazing. His punches come out so fast, but with control and he has some nice different angle punches. I loved it, I loved watching him. I actually learned somethings from him that im goin to try in sparring. Margarito fought hard, and didnt give up. But he was certainly no match for Manny who was 17 lbs lighter !! Manny actually let Margarito finish the fight, Manny coasted the last two rounds. Hes very respectful, and actually has a heart. Which is difficuly to have in Boxing. Manny will maybe retire, maybe face shane mosley, but theres only one real fight out there for him. Thats the man they call Money. Floyd "Money" Mayweather. Its like the Last Real Boxing match left, it doesnt look like its gonna happen, but money talks. We will see what happens.

What a great WEC last night, im happy these guys are gonna be UFC fighters now and get the recognition they deserve. The Cub Swanson - Macken Semerzier was one of the best fights i've ever seen. Guys taken and giving punches, non stop total action for a 3 full rds. Its insane no one didnt get knocked out. Chad Mendes defeat Javier Vazquez, Chad was a little less boring but stilll relies on "lay n pray" to much for me. Joe Benavidez looked amazing in fight vs Fabiano and ended it in the 2nd rd with a nice guillitone choke. Fabiano really fought through it but wat to much power from the explosive Benavidez. And then there was the man, the face of the WEC. Urijah Faber. Making his debut at 135, looked very good at that weight. He was just way to strong for his asian opponent. He took Mizugaki's back and looked good working his submission until he sunk in the RNC. An awesome, fast paced, all around good fight night. Cant wait to see these guys get there due.
UFC 122 is on saturday and im really pumped for this card. This has a potentially to be a great night of fights, i always say its the UFC cards that seem crappier that always come through. I just want to give my picks here we go:
N. Marquardt def Y. Okami via unanimous dec.
K. Sosznynski def G. Religic via 3rd rd submission
Alessio Sakara def J. Rivera via KO 2nd rd
V. Matyshenko def A. Ferrerira via unanimous decision
Andre Winner def Dennis Silver via tko 2nd rd
Kris Mccary def C. Rocha via Ref's stoppage 3rd rd
R.Kimmons def Kyle Noke via unanimous decision.

Jungle Jitsu lived up to its name yesterday with a showcase of submissions and epic battles. Jungle Jitsu legends took part on the mat, trying not to lose and go after that submissions. Ligs a NAGA champion showed some nice control and established his dominat positions. Danny and Bert White continuing to get better every practice, they both could enter new level in jits if continue to stick with it. Christopher being christopher and going harder then hard, but its real and makes going vs other people easier to deal with. My boy Matador and Brendan also came down and was going at it hard, it was really good to see OJJ's up in the hizzy. I just hope we continue to train and get a second night going.
TUF was on last night in a pretty good episode. John Brookins fought, who is my favorite fighter on the show, and my pick to win it all. He looked outstanding, pretty much doing the same thing he did in his last fight. Big under/over throw into taking the back while on the feet, breaking him down to a nice RNC. The kid is awesome, reminds my boy Bert of Michael Jackson, I'll take it.
Next was Nam Pham vs Cody Mckenzie, I dont like Nam to much, def a loser. Cody is like the underdog that u wanna win, and he went out there and did well. Def won the 1st round, sticking to his game plan and keeping Nam against the fence. Cody was def gassed in the 2nd and couldnt take Nam down, then Nam took over with his hands. Clockin Cody in the face, and then ending it with a nice body shot.
2nd to last WEC show tonight, featuring the WEC's poster boy Urijah Faber debuting at 135. Should be a good night of fights and i nice warm up for UFC 122 this saturday.

Wooo, long time no talkie.. my bad, sometimes it just slips my mind and i forget to write down my thoughts. Also i have been getting hammered lately and its been effecting my blog status
1st off, I just want to thank everyone at World Gym for holding a MS event in my name. It was a total surprise, I had no idea. Totally shocked and thankful. Everyone at the gym is amazing and i couldnt say thank u enough. Also, Wine is a killer hangover.
My buddy Tom Carlo fought last night at Glo in westbury for Gladiator Promotions. Tom came out strong looking good, connecting with power combos, he took some good shots and kept coming after his opponent. My own opinon that he won the 1st and 3rd with no problem and he won the 2nd rd by a slight amount. Congrats Tom, u looked great. Also, Brad Lemley scored a TKO over some fat mess, Terrence Hill fought for a draw that was bullshit. Also Bobby Campbell fought in the most exciting fight I have seen him in, beating a game opponent that Bobby lost to twice. It was a great night of fights, great promotion and it was amazing seeing the Bellmore KB crew again.
The TUF episode sucked this passed week, Dana def picked the wrong guy in Marc Stevens to come back and have a 2nd chance at becoming the TUF champ. I totally disagreed but Dana seemed set on it, i def thought that Jeff Lentz deserved it or the tatanka looking fellow. Anyways, Im very happy Stevens lost by guilltione choke AGAIN in this fight, Bro u suck ! This coming up week we have the 2nd rd of the fights, and im really looking forward to see who wins in these matches. Especially the black on black fight, (BruceLeeRoy vs Michael Johnson) sweetness
As for me, i have been trying to get into weight lifting shape lately. Doing some small things like push ups (which suck dick) air squats and push ups. Starting slowly, with some decent cardio it has been going really well. Today actually, I did ten pull ups without stopping once. This hasnt happened since July, so im pretty excited. No problems doing that, when it usually did. I think im taking control of my Multiple Sclerosis situation. But, it was really difficult goin to the fights last night and having people ask me where i have been or when im fighting next. I just dont wanna say o yea bro, workin and stuff, so it sounds like im a wuss and bitchin out. Im not gonna go around and tell everyone wats really up and have them feel bad for me either, fuck that. I need to get some free time and atleast get to grappling class. I love Kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, and MMA to much not to be doin it at a real gym. I love the Jungle but i only do it once a week and its difficult to get my guys down there sometimes. Alright, ill try to stick with this, if anyone cares. haha

Boy o boy what a weekend, I got freakin shit faced at my friends kids bar mitzvah. Drinking green, blue and red colored drinks. Next thing i know im shouting and trying ripp things off the wall. Just being an ass, loved every second of it. The party was so good that i wasnt to upset about missing UFC 121. When Brock lost i got a ton of messages letting me know what happened. I got really upset, and i really wanted to see it. So i went home and ordered the pay per view and then passed out on my couch (didnt even watch one round of any fight), and just wasted fifty bux. Sux for me. I got to watch the fights the next morning online and i was correct on how this UFC event was gonna be boring. Obviously the main even was good, but all the main card fights went the distance, almost no finishes on the entire card.
Back to the Main Event, Cain was just the better overall fighter, and just put a beating on Brock. I hope Brock works on his stand up, maybe makes the move to an actual camp and get some new coaches.
Had a terrible day in fantasy this weekend having benched Darren McFadden and Kenny Britt, that really hurt. Things have been going my way lately so im not gonna dwell on it to much, but it felt like a kick in the nuts.
The next ufc isnt til November 20th, and people are bitching there are to many events ?!?! Non sense i scream, i can watch fights every saturday night, why not ? who doesnt wanna see submissions and knock outs and whatever crazy shit that happens during a MMA fight. What do u think ? Is there to many events or not enough ?
Be open minded,

Pretty upset, I have a bar mitzvah to attend tomorrow night and it starts at 8 pm. 8 pm ? why so late, damn it. Im gonna miss most of the UFC if not all. Ughh, im trying to figure out a way to get out. But, I like these people and its a serious Super party. Hey maybe they will have the UFC on there.. haha i doubt it. I made my picks i posted them on Twitter @ VJ_Torres, you can see them there. I watched the Bellator fights this morning, congrats to Eddie Alvarez on his dominating performance over Roger Huerta. Also to Ben Askren for his lay and pray job to get the middleweight title.
Tonight I have a new client, hopefully it works out and he likes it. He was studying under a karate guy so i like to see what he no's. Should be interesting. Maybe a couple of brews and a slow night, got early training tomorrow morning and that bat mitzvah at night. Dang it. maybe ill watch it at one am.

Had the Jungle last night, not a lot of people but it was good to get my roll on after a rough day at work. The Ultimate fighter was on last night with the best episode of the season. TWO exciting fights, one 1st an alaskin fighter 11-0 Cody who doesnt look like ur typical fighter vs Koschecks 1st pick Marc Stevens. I dont like Stevens hes seems like the blows Koscheck to much, a lot for the tv. I feel he really isnt like that just doin it for show. Well all his trash talkin and acting like a bully got him far. Far deep into the Mckenzietine. O thats right, 18 seconds into the fight the Alaskin gets shot on and puts on his signature move. It was great to watch, it was great to see Koscheck's face. He totally didnt think that would happen, i dont think anyone did. It was awesome, i was so happy i was jumping out of my seat.
Fight #2 was vs two awesome fighters. Jonathan Brookins vs Sevak Magakian. Sevak is probably one of the most intense people ive ever seen. Even if he sucked at fighting i wouldnt wanna mess with him. He pushes hard and does right in training. I'd be rooting for him if he wasnt facing my favorite fighter on the show. I love Jonathan's out take of fighting or even life. Very balanced, keeping himself in check always. I like his cool confidence and he knows where he stands in the MMA world. When the fight started i just thought Sevak was gonna take my boys head off, but Jonathan was cool and collective. Fakin a shot into a body kick into a hip toss. it was awesome, Sevak has a lot of heart and stood up but Brookins sunk in his hooks and took his back standing, and finished with the RNC, it was awesome. Hes my choice to win the show, im excited for Jonathan Brookins, now i just wish he had twitter.
Also heard the ADCC tournament, (Jiu-Jitsu Tourney) is coming to New Jersey, which im pumped for an hopefully attending. I got my Kickboxing class tonight and the Jersey shore after. Talk tomorrow

Got my first compliment for my blog today, obviously my bestest friend in the whole world, rob "Robbie" "Bert" White gave it to me. Thanks man. Today was a rough day at the office and even busier on the twitter. Hit me up @VJ_Torres. some crazy ass shit goes on that mother fucker.
Pretty upset that both my clients cancelled tonight but i guess its alright, im just gonna hit up bag and work out a little bit. But, pretty happy about the Jungle starting back up tomorrow. Should be a lot of fun, lookin to get a good cardio workout in and cant wait to tap some people out. Im trying to get some serious jiu jitsu players in there, its pretty difficult. But hopefully it works out.
I checked out the World of Jenks new episode this morning, clearly his worst one yet this season. I guess they all cant be awesome but this one was mad boring and didnt like the person he was chilling with as much as the others. I couldnt find the episode of UFC countdown with Lesnar and Velasquez which is gonna be a crazy fight. more to come later this week about UFC 121.
Not sure whats good on tv tn beside Yanks and some Office episodes. If ur interested in grappling hit me up, getcha roll on.

Haven't blogged in a while, I have been mighty busy. A lot of personal training, back to my Kickboxing Class at World Gym, my regular job and planning things out for my moms birthday party.
I had a sick time at the Jets game last monday, even though the weather sucked. We had a blast anyways. Big Win for the Jets yesterday vs the Broncos, gotta win a couple of cheap ones here and there.
Loved every second of UFC 120 in London. Proud of my boy Carlos Condit who ktfo Dan Hardy. Both of them threw left hooks which connected at the same time, but only one man remain standing. The outlaw fell hard to the ground, and the Natural Born Killer leaped on top of Hardy and finished the fight with a nice 1-2 before the ref came in and stopped Carlos from killing Hardy. Bisping and Sexyama was a great fight to, i do think Sexyama won atleast one round, but i guess ur not gonna get that facing Bisping in England. Hope "The Count" gets back in the mix and faces a top fighter in the 185 lbs weight class.
This weekend is UFC 121, an awesome stacked card with Brock Lesner, Cain Valesquez, Matt Hamill, Tito Ortiz, Jake Shields and Martin Kampman. I'm predicting boring fights bc the big cards never really live up to the hype. It is always the crappy cards that are the most exciting. But still i cant not which this, Brock is the biggest draw in MMA and im way to much of a fan of his not to watch this. Also pumped to see Jake Shields fight, hopefully he doesnt bring his boring style over from strikeforce and dry hump the dutchman to death into a decision victory. Also, my former favorite fighter Tito Ortiz will be back in action facing his former student Matt the hammer Hamill. I expect this fight to stay standing with Ortiz winning a boring decision.
Hopefully Im back sooner than later, thanks for reading

Busy as a mother fucker at work today, trying not to have any errors and get a perfect day in.
My daughter's bully is now like her little boyfriend now. I'm very pleased with this, I dont have to worry about Mackey when she is at school, as much. So atleast that episode has passed. Shes been making friends at school and now at her dance class. So I am very happy about all the good news with her.
I've been getting back in Personal Training, stacking up my schedule with clients. Trying to make the moneys. Tomorrow I go back to World Gym for the 1st time since being dx with Multiple Sclerosis, I'm pretty pumped for that should be a lot of fun.
My boy Joe, invited me to go to the Jets game this monday night vs the Vikings. Soooo pumped for this, gonna take a half day off from work and get my ass there early. Randy Moss will be playing, Favre coming back to ny, should be fucking sick. So, I got to spend a lot of time with the wife over the weekend, make her happy because i wont be around Monday at all. Fucker, I think she has off that day too bc of Columbus Day. Shiznit!!! That should be an interesting talk, but I'm going to this game. I dont remember the last time I have been to a regular season game. Should be a rough day at work on tuesday, but we gotta do what we gotta do.

Well I'm bored. I also just saw the movie "The Social Network" and it has really gotten me motivated to do something. But, Im not sure exactly what to do. I'm not smart enough to make my own web design and create something out of nothing. I mean, I am worried about spelling errors writing this 1st blog. I don't even know who is gonna read this, does it matter >?I guess it does in a way. I'm intrigued to find something that everyone would have interest in. Like facebook, twitter, skype yada yada. So I have this personal fitness website and I decided to make a link, and create this blog. I guess this will make me satisfied for a little while, prob stop after a couple of days. Especially if no one is reading it. I'm just some normal dude, trying to figure out why the fuck I am here, and what am I suppose to do. You know ? Like am I really here just to live a normal life and die ?? No fucking way, I'm here to make a difference or contribute to fucking something. I don't get it. Welp I'll be searching, looking for the next best thing. For now, I'll be working at my fulltime job, doin personal training and such on the side. Hanging out with my family and friends. I guess its not to bad, and I love it. But I'm not settling, we should never settle for anything.
